Matching Gift and Year-End Giving Opportunities

We love this busy time of the year at the Community Foundation! There are so many giving opportunities to strengthen the communities in the Fox Valley region with charitable gifts, and many organizations are offering to double the impact of your donations by offering dollar-for-dollar matches.

We’ve made it easy to discover these opportunities!
Simply browse our curated list of matching gift opportunities and view the amount that other donors have funded so far. If you would like to add your gift to the funding total, click Donate. Once our giving campaign period has ended, the Community Foundation will send one check to each organization, along with a complete listing of all donors for recognition purposes. If you would like your gift to be anonymous, please indicate that when submitting.

If you have a donor advised fund at the Community Foundation, you can make a year-end gift to these organizations or to your favorite charitable causes via your Fund Advisor Portal. Talk with your Donor Services contact and make your gift before our recommended December 18 deadline to ensure your transaction is processed by the end of the year.

Fox Cities Doubles Impact with Red Kettles

Our Community Foundation Salvation Army – Fox Cities’ Match Day was on Friday, December 1. A total of $52,118.14 was raised to meet needs, and was matched by Community Foundation donors an extra $50,000, bringing the total to $102,118.14!

 “We want to thank the donors who work with the Community Foundation to be able to have the largest match day during the Red Kettle season and thank those donors who gave their resources to help meet this year’s match,” said Kristal Knudtson, Director of Development & Marketing Communications.

The campaign will provide year-round services such as its daily meal program, food pantry, transitional housing, and rent/utility assistance.

Calumet County Salvation Army held its Red Kettle Match in Brillion on two December Saturdays thanks to The Robert & Patricia Endries Family Foundation, one of our supporting organizations, which matched $10,000 for all donations. The total amount raised was $14,629.60, plus the $10,000 matching gift to total $24,629.60! These Red Kettle donations will be used by the Salvation Army to provide year-round services such as its daily meal program, food pantry, transitional housing, and rent/utility assistance. The organization also provides toys, food baskets, and gifts to families in need at Christmas.
