Hello! My name is Kelley Baryenbruch, and I recently joined the Community Foundation as Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. I am excited to be part of a fantastic team of people who work hard using their time and energy to make our community a better place to live.

In my new role I provide support for the President and CEO of the Community Foundation, our team members, and our valuable Board of Directors and Board Committee members. My goal is to collaborate and utilize their extensive talent and experience to help the team build strong connections within the nonprofit network in the Fox Valley region.

Before joining the Community Foundation, my previous roles in business and education included Marketing Project Manager at Werner Electric Supply, where I helped execute detailed marketing plans to promote a variety of products and services. I enjoyed being part of a team and “keeping all the pieces moving forward” to measurable success. 

Prior to my career in business, I taught 8th grade students at St Francis Xavier Middle School in Appleton. While teaching, I developed curriculum for an elective which raised student awareness of social issues and included fundraising and shopping for local students in need of warm winter clothing and raising money for the Burundi, Africa Education Fund.

I feel giving back to a community through volunteering is critical. My time well-spent volunteering includes supporting Feed the Body, Feed the Soul, Ducks Unlimited, the Fox Valley Performing Arts Center, the Octoberfest Event in downtown Appleton and clean ups at High Cliff State Park.

Outside of work, I can be found exploring new hiking trails, kayaking with friends, or painting my next watercolor. Travel is my passion! I love time spent deep in a travel book researching my next adventure! My favorite trip so far has been to Lake Bled and Predjama Castle near Ljubljana, Slovenia.   

I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Community Foundation and the Executive team and look forward to supporting the Foundation’s mission… Together We Flourish!
