Hi! I am Stefany Murillo, and I have joined the Community Foundation as the Accounting and Payroll Senior Associate. My role is divided to support the finance team, the human resources team and database operations.

Being at the Community Foundation brings me honor and excitement as I combine my passion for numbers and philanthropy. It’s a great feeling to work for an organization that impacts our community for the better!

I grew up recognizing Menasha as my home, I graduated from the, then, University of Fox Valley with an associate’s degree in business administration. I have had the great opportunity to work at local and nonprofit organizations for the last 10 years of my career. I started at Fox Communities Credit Union where I led to build great member experience through providing finance education and assessing accuracy in loan documents. I then joined Samaritan, stepping into the Client Benefits Supervisor role, working to support and improve processes. Lastly, I was the Database Administrator for their Wellness Screen program, providing database management.

My husband Jose and I have two girls, Joselyn age 12 and Evelyn age 6. We enjoy traveling far and near; we love a great beach whether that is by a lake or ocean. Like most school-aged parents, my husband and I spend a lot of time in the car chauffeuring our girls around to the endless activities. They love to stay busy with dance, karate, music and as my middle schooler discovers school sport teams, we couldn’t say no to cross country and volleyball. We are so blessed to live in a diverse community that offers so much.
