Hello! My name is Amy MacKenzie, and I recently joined the Community Foundation as the Director of Marketing and Communications. My role is to help provide strategic direction, planning guidance, and managing the execution of all internal and external communication and marketing functions of the Foundation.

Most of my career experience has been working within nonprofit health care organizations. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and advertising from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to support the missions of some amazing nonprofit organizations as a staff member, board member and/or volunteer.

I live in Greenville with my husband, our two dogs and cat. We have one daughter who is studying pre-med in St. Louis.  As empty nesters, we have found a love for travel! Earlier this year our daughter spent a semester studying abroad in Spain. During her spring break we had a great time exploring Madrid and Rome. In addition to travel, I love to read, hike, and enjoy great conversations with friends and family while sharing a good cup of coffee.

I am blessed to join the Community Foundation team and look forward to sharing the mission, stories and impact of the Foundation throughout northeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
