Instruments in Horn Park

In 2023 our Brillion Area Family of Funds (BAFF) affiliate partner made grants totaling $1.1 million to 70 nonprofit organizations, as highlighted in its recently released 2023 Community Report. Its impact includes 25 scholarship awards totaling $76,750 to area students from 11 scholarship funds. Contributions totaled just over $1 million, with total assets of $9.5 million.

With a mission to actively preserve, strengthen and improve the quality of life in Brillion, the report spotlights examples of its charitable work, including the role the BAFF played in bringing inclusive playground equipment to Horn Park. The playground includes a zip line and musical instruments.

Fundraising is ongoing to build a permanent endowment to benefit community causes for generations to come. During the past three years, BAFF has raised more than $330,000 for the Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund and donations are being matched by Bob and Pat Endries. “The last three years of fundraising have been successful and rewarding, and the amount of effort from volunteers, donors and fund holders makes the celebration even more special,” said Tammy Koehler, Brillion Area Family of Funds Advisory Board Chair.
