Donor’s legacy continues to impact lives
The Himebaugh Legacy Circle reached a notable milestone, now including 307 members who have included the Community Foundation in their estate plans.
Among this thoughtful group is Jim Reichel who was passionate about his Kaukauna community. In 2006, he established the James R. Reichel Charitable Fund, a donor advised fund within the Community Foundation. Jim’s wish was to make an impact in the Fox Cities during and after his lifetime with grants from his fund to Salvation Army Fox Cities and other nonprofit organizations that provide food, shelter and clothing. His professional advisors helped him make long-term plans to support those organizations as well as the greatest needs of the community through the Community Foundation’s Community Vision Fund.
Jim passed away in 2020 at 80, confident that his charitable causes will always be taken care of through the plan he established for the permanent endowment with the Community Foundation.
The Community Foundation is here to help you carry out your unique charitable goals through a flexible long-term plan that can be updated throughout your lifetime. Legacy gifts, or gifts through your estate plan, can help you to make a difference in our region for generations to come.
Have you given thought to your own legacy and how you can make a difference to a loved one, your community and your favorite charitable causes? Your Community Foundation is happy to help with your long-term charitable planning to help you make an impact on the people and projects that matter to you long after you are no longer here. The Himebaugh Legacy Circle recognizes those who have made future plans for their favorite charitable causes through a bequest or similar deferred gift to the Foundation.
