Women’s Fund welcomes Stacie Hazlett-Rothe

Hello! My name is Stacie Hazlett-Rothe (she/her), and I’m thrilled to join the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region team as the Communication and Outreach Specialist.

In my role, I’ll be responsible for our external communication efforts, developing marketing materials, event planning and supporting my fellow team members in their roles.

My passion for supporting women and girls has been a part of my foundation as I was raised by a single mother who always encouraged me to be my best self and to give to those who needed it. This belief stayed with me when I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in communication studies, as I knew I wanted to pursue work in the nonprofit sector. Since graduating, I’ve been fortunate to work for organizations that helped my professional development and encouraged my involvement within the community.

Joining the Women’s Fund as a staff member is a full circle moment for me as I have been a longtime volunteer on the Events Committee. I am familiar with planning the annual luncheon and what it takes to be successful.

After meeting my husband in high school, we’ve created a beautiful life in the Fox Cities with our two young children, dog and cat. In my free time I love exploring the outdoors with my family, reading, baking with my children and watching U.S. Soccer – both the women’s and men’s team, and Minnesota United, go Loons!

I am so excited to be with the Women’s Fund and to get to know our supporters, volunteers and grant recipients. Supporting local women and girls and advocating for them beyond our community is so important to me and I am thrilled to join a team of strong women who want to do the same.

The Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region is a supporting organization of the Community Foundation and a separate 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Women’s Fund invests in the needs of women and girls through grants, advocacy and education. Since 1994, the Women’s Fund has awarded more than $1.8 million in grants to innovative programs that improve women’s and girls’ physical and mental health, ensure their economic security, promote their safety and enhance their lives.
