Clintonville’s Sue Aschliman: A great community to call home
By Sue Aschliman, Clintonville Area Foundation Board Chair
Although I wasn’t raised in Clintonville, I have lived here for over 20 years. I consider myself the biggest cheerleader for Clintonville. I own two local businesses, go to the rec center, worship and volunteer here. Why? Because this is a great community to call home.
I strongly believe in this community and the work of the Clintonville Area Foundation to support this town. I am simply amazed at the generosity of the Clintonville community.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our fundraising efforts surpassed the previous year’s efforts. What does this mean? It means we can give back to the nonprofit organizations of the area. This year our grant cycle was the largest ever. What a wonderful thing to be a part of!
