Chilton Foundation strengthens community with support of many
By Derek McDermott, Board Chair, Chilton Area Community Foundation
The Chilton Area Community Foundation continues our commitment to the well-being of everyone in the community and we are thankful for the role community members play in helping fulfill the Community Foundation’s mission.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, our fundraising efforts have continued to bear fruit, allowing us to give back to area nonprofit organizations such as New Hope Center, Leaven, Salvation Army, Ledge View Nature Center, Chilton Public Library, the Chilton Fire Department and others.
Over the past 20 years, we have given $7 million dollars in grants thanks to your generosity.
Moreover, during the past 20 years, the Chilton Area Community Foundation has granted over $628,000 in scholarships to area students through it’s 22 donor scholarship funds.
Other local organizations have benefitted from our donor advised funds, where donors may indicate how their funds are to be used.
