Friends make a difference
We’re humbled by the outpouring of compassion and support we’ve witnessed – financial and otherwise – to sustain the Fox Valley region.
Our community’s collaborative spirit of giving, driven forward by partners like you, has never been stronger and is reflected in a record year of philanthropy in our community.
For over 35 years, the Community Foundation has brought people and resources together, moving ideas into action and helping invest in nonprofits addressing community needs. The work and our mission to strengthen our community for current and future generations is even more important now and will continue to be in the future as we recover from the pandemic.
We invite you to partner with us by making a gift to the Friends of the Foundation Fund, which propels what we do, supports our ongoing operations, and helps ensure your Community Foundation is well positioned to continue supporting the charitable causes that keep our community strong. In short, your Friends of the Foundation Fund gift is not onlt a gift to your Community Foundation but to our community.
“Over the last few years, many have lost a sense of community. The Friends of the Foundation Fund is one way to strengthen the bonds of what it means to be an American–e pluribus Unum!,” says Dr. Montgomery “Monk” Elmer.
Dr. Susan May, former president of Fox Valley Technical College and former Community Foundation Board member, echoes that sentiment.
“The Foundation’s work is all about community. This is one way I choose to give back to the community that has meant so much to my family and me over the years,” says May, contributor to the Friends of the Foundation Fund.
We are grateful for the generosity of friends and supporters who invest in our mission and vision to help our communities flourish through a legacy of philanthropy.
