LEAVEN thankful to Chilton Area Community Foundation
LEAVEN helps residents of Outagamie, Calumet, northeastern Winnebago counties and those in New London living in Waupaca County, thanks to the generosity of the community, including the Chilton Area Community Foundation, our regional affiliate partner.
By Mary Parsons, executive director, LEAVEN
Congratulations to the Chilton Area Community Foundation for 20 remarkable years of supporting causes that contribute to the quality of life of its residents. With their deep knowledge and passion for their community, the Chilton Foundation plays a key role in identifying and solving community problems.
The Chilton Area Community Foundation has faithfully supported LEAVEN since 2004, ensuring help is available to individuals and families struggling to meet their basic needs. LEAVEN’s roots in Chilton go back to 1993, when we opened our first satellite office there, making it easier for residents throughout Calumet County to access assistance.
The office is staffed by volunteers who live in Chilton, which is a further testament to the strength and character of the community.
By providing housing and utility assistance, LEAVEN has prevented countless households from slipping into greater poverty, homelessness and ill health. Our help is possible, in part, because of the generosity of the Chilton Area Community Foundation.
LEAVEN is honored and grateful to be a part of their organizational history. We value their support and are excited to be a part of their unfolding story.
The Chilton Area Community Foundation is one of five geographic affiliates we partner with in the Fox Valley. Our other partners include Brillion Area Family of Funds, Clintonville Area Foundation, Shawano Area Community Foundation and Waupaca Area Community Foundation.
