Celebrating scholarships, drive-by style!
The graduates from the Class of 2020 will certainly have very different memories of how they got their diplomas during the Safer At Home restrictions. We’re excited to share some of the ways scholarship recipients are celebrating this year. Two of our nonprofit partners, Neenah-based Youth Go and Junior Achievement of Northeast Wisconsin, recognized local students in person at a safe distance:

“Today was a day filled with joy and celebration!
Youth Go staff had a parade to recognize some of our seniors and officially award each of them with a $,1000 Continuing Education Scholarship. This would usually be done at our Awards Ceremony but that event has been postponed. The scholarships are supported by an anonymous family fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
“It was an incredible opportunity to surprise four of our five scholarship winners and spread some happiness in these uncertain times. We are so lucky to have been able to be a part of the stories of these amazing young people! Congrats to Malcolm, Gavin, Lizzie, and Kya!”
