Kelly Tanck is the Community Foundation’s new controller in our finance department.

Hello! My name is Kelly Tanck and I’m honored to introduce myself as the newest member of the finance team here at the Community Foundation. I am thrilled to be able to support the good work being done here in the Fox Valley through this Foundation.

I earned my Bachelors of Arts in accounting at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and began working at Schenck SC on their government and not-for-profit team upon graduation. While I might have been asked to work with other clients, I always kept my nonprofit role.

After my time at Schenck, I returned to my alma mater and worked for the UW-Green Bay Foundation for almost nine years.

My husband Steve and I live in Green Bay with our 3-year-old son, Joe. We enjoy spending time with family and traveling, and it is even better when we are able to combine the two!

Our favorite travel destinations are the national parks. I dabble in photography, especially documenting our family travels. We share our home with a dog named Max and a cat named Kitty.

It has always been important to me to be able to support a nonprofit mission in an accounting role. It is motivating to know the work you’re doing at your desk is truly making a difference.

I’m so grateful to be a part of the Fox Valley team and look forward to learning more about this great community!
