The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region is nearly doubling its current offices to better respond to the needs of donors and nonprofit organizations. The Community Foundation, which employs 26, will add almost 10,000 square feet currently occupied by Community Care Inc. The Community Foundation also includes the Women’s Fund and Nonprofit Leadership Initiative, whose five employees have office space at the building, along with Appleton Education Foundation, which is downtown Appleton.

The renovations at 4455 W. Lawrence St. in Grand Chute will begin early 2020, with occupancy planned for fall 2020. The Community Foundation owns the building, which was gifted to them in 2007 after they moved to a suite in the building in 2004. A third tenant, Novaspect, will remain.

Community Care Inc., headquartered in Brookfield, Wis., is a private nonprofit organization that serves the long-term care and health needs of more than 12,000 older adults and adults with physical or intellectual disabilities. Sixty-five Community Care employees will relocate to Trasino Centre on Casaloma Drive in Grand Chute by the end of December. Community Care’s Appleton office has been serving Family Care and Family Care Partnership members of Outagamie County since 2010.
