Community Foundation welcomes Jennifer Osborn
Hi! My name is Jen Osborn. As the administrative associate supporting Community Engagement, I feel very blessed to be a part of The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. I’m especially passionate about helping others and love watching growth happen.
I have oodles of administrative experience at local companies like Bassett Mechanical, Builders FirstSource and Appvion. It’s very exciting to me that my new role aligns with my values and that the Community Foundation has such an amazing mission!
I’ve been married a little over two years to my wonderful husband, Matthew, and have a beautiful 11-year-old step-daughter, Leylah. I am an animal lover, and my two cats Stripes and Pumpkin are my fur babies.
I am a certified Group Exercise Instructor and Wellness Coach and currently teach TABATA Cardio at the Heart of the Valley YMCA, and work in the Downtown YMCA wellness center on a part-time basis.
I started my health and wellness journey in November 2012. I love challenging myself with weights and goals and have lost 60lbs thus far.
I try to run every day, and I run on purpose and with intention. One of my biggest accomplishments is running and finishing my first half marathon in April 2018 in memory of my dad. The proceeds from the 13-K benefited Parkinson’s research. I am really blessed to be a part of that experience and can’t wait for the half marathon in April 2019. Matthew and I are already signed up!
The more important stuff about me: I love coffee, dark chocolate, diet coke and anything sparkly. In my free time, I volunteer as a sermon inputter at our church. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Time is one thing you can never get back; cherish every moment.
You are part of a great organization. It was a pleasure to have seen you a few weeks ago. Keep up the great work!
