Say ‘Terve!’ to our new team member
Hi everyone!
My name is Iida (pronounced ee-da) Berg and am thrilled to be a part of the Community Foundation team as the Donor Services & Gift Planning Coordinator, supporting multiple areas of the Foundation, focusing on gift planning and our robust scholarship program. I have a diverse professional background from working with international visa processes to managing lifeguards at a waterpark in Wisconsin Dells, to my previous position as an elementary school library paraprofessional for the Menasha Joint School District. My career path has been steered by my will to do good in my community and help those in need through good causes and education, so I am very excited to start contributing to what the Foundation has to offer!
I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Helsinki in Finland, with a major in Communications and minors in Sociology and Area & Cultural Studies, with a specialization in North America. I was born and raised in Finland, Europe, in a small town approximately 30 miles outside of the capital, Helsinki. I moved to Wisconsin following my college graduation in 2016. When not working, I love binge watching Disney+ with my husband, son and three cats, drinking overly sweet coffee drinks and indulging in European chocolates. I am excited to learn more in depth about the Foundation, our scholarship program and the nonprofit sector, and to bring a Nordic tinge to the team!
