CEO’s new assistant here to help the community
By Stacie Belke
Executive Assistant
My name is Stacie Belke. I am the new Executive Assistant to Curt Detjen, the President and CEO at the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.
My main job duties are to support the CEO and serve as the team coordinator for the administrative team. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, listening to live music and traveling.
Previously, I worked at Oshkosh Defense, where I had multiple roles. I started as a human resources administrator and then moved on to be the executive assistant for four vice presidents of the company. I ended my tenure at Oshkosh Defense as the small business liaison. Prior to that, I had worked in several different positions at Menasha High School.
Education played an important role in my job changes.
While working at the high school, I earned an associate’s degree in human resources from Fox Valley Technical College. Then, at Oshkosh Defense, I enrolled in classes through Lakeland College and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
I felt it was time for me to leave the corporate world and return to a smaller workplace. I also saw that working for a nonprofit would help me get to know my community better and give me a greater feeling of satisfaction.
I am very excited to work for the Community Foundation where I can help to make a difference in our community.
