New donor services manager values Valley’s generosity
Hi! My name is Carissa Kranz and I am thrilled to have joined the staff of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region recently as a Donor Services Manager.
I grew up in Darlington, a rural area of southwest Wisconsin, where — primarily through my parents’ example — I learned the importance of generosity, community involvement and helping your neighbors.
I moved to the Fox Valley for a job at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Throughout my nearly 11 years at the P.A.C., and then most recently with the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Foundation, I have witnessed the incredible philanthropic spirit of this region and the desire to continue developing a vibrant community. The Fox Valley affords similar small-town sensibilities to what I grew up with, but in the framework of a much larger community that has so much to offer all who live here, including our trusted and impactful Community Foundation.
My husband, Trevor, and I recently bought a home in Winchester, where our beloved golden retriever, Jazz, now has a yard to chase balls and Frisbees to her heart’s delight. I am a devoted auntie and enjoy spending time with my family and friends, outdoor pursuits (kayaking, biking, hiking) with my husband, traveling, quiet time in my craft room and, of course, doting on Jazz.
After years of work in development, I am very excited for this new opportunity to help donors share.
