Bob Ellis named new VP
We are pleased to announce that bank executive and trust officer Bob Ellis has been named our new vice president development and donor services.
Ellis has been advising people on financial and estate matters in the Fox Valley for 22 years. He joined Valley Trust in 1992 and leaves its successor, BMO Harris Bank Appleton, as vice president and director of trust and estate services. In his new job, he will work with new and current donors with charitable funds at the Foundation and supervise the Donor Services staff.
He said he made the switch because he loves to work with clients on accomplishing their dreams and this is an opportunity to do the same for people’s charitable dreams.
“I’ve always had a tremendous admiration for the Community Foundation and the work it does for the community,” he said.
Ellis, who grew up on a farm near the small city of Knoxville, Iowa, has a degree in finance from Iowa State University and a law degree from University of Iowa. He and wife Cheryl have four children, two in college and two in high school.
