Alexis Martell joins the Community Foundation

Hello everyone!

My name is Alexis Martell and I’m the new Scholarship Coordinator here at the Community Foundation. 

I grew up in the Fox Cities and it’s where I have resided for most of my life. For the last 12 years, I’ve been a public-school teacher, teaching 8th grade English. Teaching has been my passion, and is at the core of who I am, so I’m excited to be able to continue to help students in a different capacity within the Community Foundation. 

Out of the office, my time is spent with my family. During summer, we enjoy most of our days on Shawano Lake. Other than spending days on the lake, we enjoy camping, trying new restaurants, watching the Green Bay Packers, and visiting every coffee shop within a 100-mile radius. Eventually, I hope I can add “farm animal owner” to my title as it’s always been my dream to own horses, cows, and sheep.  

I look forward to this new opportunity and providing support to students exploring their post-secondary aspirations!
