Brillion Area Benefits from over $38,000 in Grants

The Brillion Area Family of Funds* awarded $38,279.55 in grants this spring from its Brillion Area Family of Funds Endowment Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region to improve the quality of life in the greater Brillion area.

2026 spring grant recipients include:

• Brillion Athletic Association: $5,000 to the Peters Park Baseball Diamond Infield Upgrade.
• Brillion Middle School: $1,000 for the Brillion Middle School’s 7th Grade Trip to Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya
• Brillion Police Department: $5,000 for the Brillion Training Garage, a BPD training site.
• Brillion Public Library: $5,000 towards the Brillion Public Library Reading Garden.
• Brillion Public Library: $2,000 to the Community Living Room Project.
• Empowered Tutoring: $4,000 to the Brillion Library Learning Program
• Friends of the Endries Performing Arts Center: $5,000 to the 2026-27 Show Season to support lighting & sound for the theatre.
• Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs: $3,279.55 to the Harbor House Calumet County Rural Outreach Program .
• LEAVEN: $3,000 to the Basic Needs Emergency Financial Assistance Program.
• River Surge FC, Inc.: $5,000 to Horn Park for park upkeep and field maintenance.

The Brillion Area Family of Funds was established with the goal of bringing awareness to philanthropy and establishing dedicated support to nonprofits in the Brillion area. The Advisory Board members are residents that have deep roots and understanding of what needs are arising in Brillion and determine how to grant dollars to nonprofit organizations that support the residents of the Brillion area**.

As an affiliate of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, the Brillion Area Family of Funds is comprised of volunteers who advise on the operations in Brillion and utilize the Community Foundation’s professional services and staff. This relationship with the Community Foundation allows the Advisory Board Members to focus on raising funds and determining the best way to grant dollars back to their communities. Grants are awarded annually in spring through an application and evaluation process involving Brillion Family of Funds Advisory Board Members and Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region staff.

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region’s staff are grateful for the partnerships stewarded by the volunteer Advisory Board Members of the Brillion Area Family of Funds and dedication to improving their communities not only today, but for many generations to come.
