Chilton Area Benefits from over $61,000 in Grants

The Chilton Area Community Foundation* awarded $61,630 in grants this spring from its Chilton Area Community Foundation Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region to improve the quality of life in the greater Chilton area. This year, the Chilton Area Community Foundation is celebrating their 25^th anniversary and over $875,000 awarded in grants from their unrestricted fund since their inception.

2026 spring grant recipients include:

• National Inventors Hall of Fame, Inc.: $1,500 to Camp Invention Summer STEM Education for Low-Income Chilton Area Youth
• Ascension Wisconsin Foundation: $2,800 to Ascension Mobile SATC and Anti-Human Trafficking Program of Chilton/Calumet Area
• Chilton School District/Chilton Middle School: $1,000 to Wellness Night
• Chilton School District: $7,500 to the Leadership for Life program
• Chilton School District/Chilton High School: $1,000 to the Chilton Hight School Vox Arias Show Choir
• City of Chilton/Police Department: $1,600 to an AED Upgrade
• City of Chilton/Fire Department: $10,000 to Extrication High Lift Air Bags
• Community Clothes Closet: $5,000 to Chilton’s Traveling Closet
• Ebb & Flow Connections Cooperative: $5,000 to Continuing Connection Through the Community Living Room Model and Community Care Project
• Fox Valley Technical College: $3,230 to Chilton English Language Learning Enhancements
• Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs: $4,000 to Harbor House’s Calumet County’s Outreach Office
• LEAVEN, Inc.: $5,000 to the Basic Needs Emergency Financial Assistance Program
• Multicultural Coalition, Inc.: $4,000 to Community Connections: Pathways Toward Independence program
• New Hope Center, Inc.: $5,000 to ADA Enhancements for Steenport Home
• The Salvation Army of Calumet County: $5,000 to Emergency Food Assistance for Chilton Area School District Households

The Chilton Area Community Foundation was established with the goal of bringing awareness to philanthropy and establishing dedicated support to nonprofits in the Chilton area. The Advisory Board and Grants Committee members are residents that have deep roots and understanding of what needs are arising in Chilton and determine how to grant dollars to nonprofit organizations that support the residents of the Chilton area**.

As an affiliate of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, the Chilton Area Community Foundation are volunteers who advise on the operations in Chilton and utilize the Community Foundation’s professional services and staff. This relationship with the Community Foundation allows the Advisory Board Members to focus on raising funds and determining the best way to grant dollars back to their communities. Grants are awarded annually in spring through an application and evaluation process involving Chilton Foundation volunteers and Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region staff.

The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region’s staff are grateful for the partnerships stewarded by the Advisory Board Members and Committee Members of the Chilton Area Community Foundation and dedication to improving their communities not only today, but for many generations to come.
