Brats, Beer & Beethoven at the Ballpark
Music and summer – what a beautiful combination! On Saturday, July 1, join the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers for the third annual Brats, Beer and Beethoven at the Fox Cities Stadium. This free, family-friendly concert of patriotic, classical and pops favorites celebrates the accessibility of the arts in our community. From the first note of the Star Spangled Banner to the last firework, this is an evening of music and fun under the stars.
Brats, Beer and Beethoven is only possible because of the generosity of special friends. Sponsors, including this year’s Lead Sponsor, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, help to cover costs like multi-lingual posters, production expenses and concession vouchers so that everyone feels welcomed. The accessibility of the Fox Cities Stadium also provides perfect seating for everyone to watch the fireworks that cap off the evening.
We heard from one dad after our first BBB in 2015:
“It was crazy good … since I had a baby daughter, it’s been tough for my wife and me to make it to the symphony. This was an absolutely FANTASTIC show with a FANTASTIC venue – my daughter ran around on the grass, in the sandbox, and on the playground, and I could chase her but still listen to the music! There was some great classical music, but also some very accessible music (the Star Wars medley was incredible).”
Hope to see you Saturday at the ballpark! Doors open at 6 p.m., Concert at 7:30 p.m.
