Supporting Education, Appleton Education Foundation Welcomes New Staff Member

Hello! My name is Katie Juedes, and I am very excited to introduce myself as the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Appleton Education Foundation (AEF). My role is to provide excellent administrative support to the AEF team. I am very eager to be a part of AEF’s mission to strengthen and enhance education in our community. I am a mom of three children who attend (or will attend in the future) school through the Appleton Area School District. Therefore, I am passionate about providing the best possible education for them as well as the entire community.

I attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where I received my Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain and Operations Management. After graduating, I spent many years working in the corporate world for manufacturers where I focused my efforts on purchasing and inventory management. My last role was with another nonprofit in the area. I quickly realized how important it is to have a passion for my work and to help my community.

My greatest joy is spending time with my family, which includes my husband Matt and our three children. We also have a golden retriever, Charlie. When I’m not taking my kids to dance, soccer, and school events; I love taking family trips around the state. Our favorite destinations are Wisconsin Dells, Door County, and our land in Rome, WI. I’m an avid sports fan of the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers. I also really enjoy music and going to concerts. Although with three kids, we are lucky if we make it to Mile of Music these days!

I am honored to be a part of the Appleton Education Foundation and the Community Foundation.
