Meet Kristy Bloedow!

Hi there! My name is Kristy Bloedow, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve recently joined the Community Foundation as a Database Specialist – Grants. In this role, I will support database operations by processing grant and scholarship transactions. I’m excited to be contributing to the organization’s mission by ensuring the effective management and utilization of our grants database.

Most of my career has been spent working in higher education at UW-Oshkosh. I bring with me a wealth of experience where I held roles across many diverse departments, most recently, working in the Admissions Office. These roles provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of the student lifecycle, offering numerous challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

I’m a lifelong resident of Oshkosh, where I live with my wonderful husband of 12 years and our two young daughters. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, reading, taking walks, and cooking. While I’m not a fan of the cold, I like exploring new outdoor spots during the summer with my family. When winter rolls in, you’ll find me indoors, enjoying a movie or a good book. One of my personal goals is to participate in more half-marathons, having already completed two and looking forward to future races.

I’m excited to be part of the team at the Community Foundation, not just for my own professional growth but to contribute to an organization that makes a positive and lasting impact on our community.
