Drum roll please!

Excitement is in the air at the Community Foundation. No, not because it’s National Running Day or National Gingerbread Day (seriously?), but today (drumroll) …we start our new blog! Ta da!

Okay, I admit I’m the most excited person in our office. Mostly, I’m excited for YOU!

As a blog follower, you can:

• Ask questions and interact with the creative, smart, committed and fun people (yes, I’m biased) who work here and have the privilege of seeing the Fox Valley through a charitable giving lens.
• Learn about giving trends, tools and tips to help you give smarter.
• Hear about generous people and nonprofit programs making a difference in the lives of people in our community.
• Read our reflections, opinions and general comments about topics related to charitable giving…and more.

Even though our announcement today may not register on the excite-o-meter at the same level as National Running Day, please enthusiastically follow this blog. Invite your friends to do the same. Tell us what kinds of posts you want to read. Ask questions, or just say “hi.”
