Applications for the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative are Open!

Strong communities are built by strong nonprofit leaders. Every day, nonprofit professionals navigate complex challenges- limited resources, growing community needs, staff burnout, and constant change- while still showing up with passion and purpose. That’s why the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative’s Leadership Institute program was created.

Leadership Institute is a cohort-based leadership development program designed specifically for nonprofit leaders. It offers practical tools, facilitated learning, and a trusted peer community where leaders can learn from one another and grow together. Participants gain knowledge but, more importantly, they gain perspective, confidence, and a network that they can carry with them long after the learning experience ends.

For nonprofit leaders, the Institute provides dedicated time and space to step back from the day-to-day demands of operations and focus on personal and professional growth. Participants explore leadership, management, technical, and governance topics that are grounded in real-world nonprofit experience. Many alumni describe the program as a turning point in how they lead their organizations and teams.

As we look ahead to the new year, we’re inviting nonprofit leaders to consider this: “What would be possible if you invested in your leadership this year?” Applications for the upcoming Leadership Institute cohort are open now through Monday, January 26^th. We encourage nonprofit leaders to apply, and supporters to help spread the word by sharing this opportunity with their networks. Many of our strongest cohorts have been shaped by referrals from alumni, donors, and community parters who believe deeply in the power of leadership development and our Institute program.

When nonprofit leaders are supported and connected, organizations are better positioned to serve their missions, and our communities are stronger as a result.
