Brillion Area Family of Funds Awards Grants to Local Organizations

Our Brillion Area Family of Funds partner awarded over $17,000 in grants to eight local organizations. The grants, from the Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund, will preserve, strengthen and improve the quality of life in the greater Brillion area.

“After several years of building and fundraising, our overall endowment fund is making a profound impact,” said Tammy Koehler, Brillion Area Family of Funds Advisory Board Chair. “It is an exciting time to be a part of the Brillion Area Family of Funds.” 

The grant money funded these projects: 

1. Bay-Lakes Council Boy Scouts of America: $522.92 to support New Youth Recruitment Financial Assistance 
2. Brillion Optimist Club: $3,000 to support the Horn Park Improvement project 
3. Brillion Police Department: $2,000 to support National Night Out 2025 
4. Brillion Public Library: $2,100 to support the Continuing Our Connection – Spanish Collection Expansion project 
5. Brillion Public Library: $2,000 to support the Reading Garden 
6. Brillion Public Library: $928.12 to support Updating Library Restrooms 
7. Brillion School District/Brillion Middle School: $1,500 to support Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya Assistance 
8. Friends of the Endries Performing Arts Center: $3,000 to support the Sound & Lighting project 
9. LEAVEN, Inc.: $1,500 to support Basic Needs Emergency Financial Assistance Program 
10. Samaritan Counseling: $500 to support Thrive Calumet

The Brillion Area Family of Funds within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region began in 2013 as a collection of charitable funds to actively preserve, strengthen and improve the quality of life in the Brillion area. Donations to the Brillion Area Community Endowment Fund are welcome and can be made online here. 

The Brillion Area Family of Funds is one of five geographic affiliates we partner with in the Fox Valley. Our other partners include Chilton Area Community Foundation, Clintonville Area Foundation, Shawano Area Community Foundation and Waupaca Area Community Foundation.
