The Brillion Area Family of Funds has launched its inaugural Community Report! The report spans five years, from fiscal 2015 through fiscal 2019.
Five years ago, with an eye towards building a tradition of collaboration and generosity, a diverse group of citizens including Bob and Pat Endries launched the Brillion Area Family of Funds to provide a platform to preserve, strengthen, and improve the quality of life for the people of the Brillion.
Since then, 46 charitable funds have been established by local residents and organizations with current assets totaling more than $5.8 million. These funds have awarded grants and scholarships exceeding $2.6 million, supporting causes such as the Brillion Nature Center, Brillion Schools and the local food pantry, just to name a few.
The Brillion foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, operates with a belief that it doesn’t require great wealth to be generous, simply a desire to leave the community in a better place because we’ve been here and to make a difference for residents.
Bob and Pat say they “get pleasure from participating in and supporting Brillion, the community we live in and worked in. Our charitable fund allows us to respond to the needs of our community with the administrative support coming from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region.”
