Established for the benefit of people in need in the Brillion area.
The Robert & Patricia Endries Family Foundation concentrates its giving on the needs of the Brillion community, where Bob and Pat built their successful businesses, Endries International Inc. and Professional Plating. They formed a private family foundation in 1985 to share their business success with the community, making it part of the Community Foundation in 2005. In 2015, they surpassed $8 million in total grants awarded over the 30 years.
Organizations eligible to receive grants from the Robert & Patricia Endries Family Foundation are those determined by the IRS to be public charities. This encompasses most charitable, scientific, social service, educational and religious organizations described in 501(c)(3) of the tax code, as well as government agencies. Organizations that are not public charities may apply through a fiscal sponsor. Organizations must serve Brillion residents.
Grants can be made to qualifying charitable organizations.

As a supporting organization, the Robert & Patricia Endries Family Foundation benefits from investment and administrative support from the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region. However, the family foundation retains its unique identity, distinct purpose and uses a separate board of directors to award grants.
